Title: Change tag "date added" for albums
Post by: Nixander on January 27, 2012, 01:11:33 PM
hi steve
When i reorganize my folder structure on my computer, i have to re-add old albums sometimes, which then appear in the "recently added" playlist of musicbee. because they re not actually a new albums, i dont want them to appear in this playlist. I could change the "date added" tag for each song in the album but that much work sometimes. It would be great if i could change the "date added" tag of the whole album

This would be a nice feature. If there could be a multi edit option in the program. The only tab I don't see when editing multiple files is properties.

Thanks

I totally second this request!
That would be so nice to help migrating an external library to MB. Which I did, but sorting is now a mess :)

In addition it would also be helpful to correct dates when songs in different albums have interwoven dates.. If I remember correctly, this produces strange results when sorting albums by "date added".
Thanks

I would like to revisit this.

Is there anyway to do this anywhere? Can the library database be opened or some other way?

Thanks
