Title: A Device panel (Ipod) on a fixed position in the Navigator panel
Post by: burns274 on December 30, 2011, 09:09:09 AM
I would like to see my Ipod in a fixed panel under the Navigator Panel (like the Libary Explorer).
That would make it easier to drag and drop music on it. The way it is now I always have to scroll down the
folder list to find it.
Also a 'send to Ipod' hotkey would be cool.

thanks for this great player!

Couple of things that might help:

· Collapse the 'internet' and 'computer' panes when they're not in use.
· Use collapsible folders for your playlists.
· Open the 'Devices -> ipod -> music' node in a new tab and lock it. You can then drag music to the tab.

thanks for the idea with the locked tab.
But this works only till I close Musicbee.
After the restart the Ipod tab jumps back to the beginning of the music library.
Is there a way to remember the last position (would be cool for the music library tabs too)?

My tab suggestion wasn't meant as a permanent solution anyway - more just for the 'session' where you had your player plugged in. Once your device was removed, the tab would revert back to the library node anyway I think.

There is a current thread suggesting that tabs remember the node and vertical-scroll position between sessions:

You could +1 the request.
