Title: Change Layout with Filters
Post by: bigelow13 on September 10, 2011, 12:37:54 AM
Hello

I would like the column "artist" to switch to "composer" in the track browser when I select the "classical" filter for my library.
Or, it could be as itunes: change the layout a little bit when I select a certain playlist.
Is that possible? Would anybody find it useful? Or is there another way to sort my classical music?

Thanks!

In classical music, I usually have the composer as 'album artist' and the players as 'artist'. It's not perfect, but it works quite OK, albums from the same composer are together when you browse, and it allows you to filter by composer (just filtering by album artist).

you could create an autoplaylist using the classical music filter as the source and set a specific set of display fields (these are persisted for each auto-playlist).
