Hey all, long time musicbee user here, first time posting on the forum. I have seen before that there have been various threads dedicated to implementing animated album covers to musicbee, and Steven has seemed open to it in the past - however, this still isn't a feature.
As time has passed, there have been more and more albums featuring animated covers - I really think this feature would be a great addition.

I came here to post a request for this. Lots of albums and singles are coming out with annimated album art covers on various streaming platforms. It'd be really nice to be able to use them...

It's quite surprising that it hasn't been added yet. I guess you got here the same way I did, just linked back to a thread in 2009. I'd really love this feature

If you read the referenced thread you would have noticed that Steven has no intention of implementing animated gif suport.
I dont have any plans to add animated gif support
Two years ago Steven said he has no plans to add this and locked that thread.
