Title: Can you help me to find where to change to 432 hz?
Post by: CaptBret on October 18, 2022, 04:09:37 PM
Hello,
I am currently using Music Bee version 3.4.8033.

Can someone please show me where I can change the playback pitch from 440 hx to 432 hz?  I just updated MB for this reason and cannot seem to find it.

Thank you!

First I would recommend updating to the latest 3.5.x patch version by downloading it here, unzipping it directly into your MusicBee directory and letting it overwrite existing files: https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee35_Patched.zip (https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee35_Patched.zip)

To access the pitch control, go to Preferences/Player and hit the Equaliser & DSP button in the lower right corner.  Then, in the DSP Plugins list, select the "Tempo Control" choice;  this will bring up a window allowing you to change either the "play speed" (Tempo), pitch, or sample rate.

For the 432 Hz effect, select pitch, type -0.32 into the semitones box, and hit OK.

Awesome!
Quick fix and works great.  Sounds great too!

Thank you!
