Title: virtualization
Post by: carsten on October 03, 2022, 09:31:21 PM
When virtualization is enabled, the playback speed is greatly increased.
Is this known and is there a solution for this?

its the first I have heard of that. My only suggestion is if you have any visualisers displayed (including the small one in the player controls bar), try disabling or removing them

I assume the OP means "visualization" not "virtualization."  Actually I remember this coming up a while back, mostly with users of ASIO:

Note that switching to WASAPI helped a couple of people there, and a general fix was posted by Steven later in the thread, which seems to have eliminated the issue for most people.

@carsten:  be sure you are using the latest version of MusicBee from the download page and have updated it to the latest patch for 3.5.x, including the bass dll's it contains, which you can get here:  https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee35_Patched.zip (https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee35_Patched.zip)
