Title: Allow Customization of 'Now Playing' Tab

I would specifically like to remove the reduced contrast or dimming effect on Artist Pictures while in the 'Now Playing' tab. I checked in the Panel customization and it's not there. I'm not a programmer, but am learning how to program and would be interested in trying to add this functionality via a plugin, but it doesn't appear the API current supports GUI customization yet.

A bit late on this topic, but I'd like to ask if there is a way to fix the Album cover as the choice for the background instead, and if so to disable the thumbnail in the lower left of the main Now Playing panel. Perhaps have a choice to "Fit" to the window, or to "Fill" to the greater of the height or width. (Stretch could also be an option but I doubt many would like that)
