Title: How to mass rename files in MusicBee?
Post by: Impulse on August 06, 2022, 06:58:34 PM
Hello a lot of my music has a number at the start of the filename (e.g. 32 - Radiohead - The Bends.mp3) (https://imgur.com/a/eAuMGYd)

I was wondering if there's a way to mass remove all these numbers from the filename within MusicBee so that it doesn't mess up the date added, play count, etc. But not all my music has a number at the start so I don't want to change every file. (e.g. New Radicals - You Get What You Give.mp3)(https://imgur.com/a/6gRHh8g)

Thanks in advance

no, but you can reorganize/rename your files according to their tags. menu Tools> Organize files.
