MusicBee: 3.4.7805
Windows: Windows 11 Pro, Version 21H2, Build 22000.282
Ever since upgrading to Windows 11, I have noticed that the hover-over for Musicbee is broken. It used to show pause, stop, play and previous/next song.
Now, it does not show any of these. Example: (https://imgur.com/mK6iJIv)
This does not seem to happen 100% of the time, but it's definitely the majority.
EDIT: Image linking broken, here's the image: https://imgur.com/mK6iJIv[/

It is working for me on Windows 11.
Hope you get it sorted out.

Same here. Windows 11 Pro 21H2. MusicBee 3.4.8033
-
One more observation. The buttons reappear when I switch to a mini or compact player. The next time you restart the program, they are not visible again. :-\
-
can you try using v3.5 which is available from the first forum topic
-
Update MusicBee to 3.5.8402 but no luck. Still buttons only reappear after player mode switch.
-
can you send a link to your settings file (help/ support/ view settings)
-
i cant reproduce any issues using your settings but have made a couple of changes, so could you try this version
https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee35_Patched.zip
unzip and replace the existing musicbee application files

Thank you for taking the time to work on this. With the latest patch, the buttons appear after system reboot. Next if you open MusicBee - do NOT start music playing - wait for the taskbar pop-up - close MusicBee, the buttons begin to disappear on the third or fourth load. If you START playing music and then wait for the pop-up, buttons can start to disappear on 8-15 program load. I don't know how it actually works, but it looks like this taskbar popup is being cached somewhere or there is some kind of race condition.

All processing is in the GUI thread and i dont think there is any race condition but in any case could you try this version

when the issue happens check the error log (help/ support/ view error log) and see if any cases of "parent handle=0" or "parent handle = 0 - error!"

24.01.2023 18:26:51 - parent handle = 0 - error!
24.01.2023 18:26:51 - parent handle=38406518
One more thing. I'm using nas in a local network for my music library.

I have made a change but if it still doesnt work i will need to create another debug version

At first glance, it works! Need some time to test more

Well, after the latest patch, I can't reproduce the bug. Seems to be fixed.
