Can you elaborate a bit on this? Do you mean to have the EQ be available as a panel that could be arranged like other panels in the UI, instead of just as a window?

I've been wanting to suggest this idea for a long time.

I would also like it to be much smaller, I think this is done perfectly in Winamp.
