Just out of curiousity, not that it would make a difference for me, I would like to know the reason for the lack of a 64bit version as well. I imagine there's a technical obstacle somewhere?

I'm programming illiterate, but I suppose a 64 bit version would allow MB to use more RAM maybe(?). But also, I have a 47k+ music library on a 32GB RAM PC and memory or unresponsiveness has never been a problem for me in MB.
