Title: Rename/Correct tags
Post by: Bodtje on June 07, 2021, 04:25:04 PM
Hello,

I've been searching for some time but can't find a solution to this problem.
I've got a big classical music library and created some custom tags for it. Now some of these tags contain errors.
E.g. in my Conductor tag the same conductor Gerard Schwarz is sometimes written as Gerhard Schwarz.
Is it possible to correct this throughout my entire library without having to search for and select each erroneous tag?

Thanks in advance,
Bodtje

Select Composer in the library thumbnail browser menu (https://musicbee.fandom.com/wiki/Library_Navigation_Elements#Thumbnail_Browser). Find the misspelled composer in the list and select it.  This will show the files that are tagged with this composer in the main window. Select those files, Shift+Enter brings up the tag editor, correct the spelling.
