Title: Colored Waveform
Post by: loosenut on May 24, 2021, 08:06:34 PM
I'd love to see MusicBee have the option to display colored waveforms (based on frequency).  Ala https://dsp.stackexchange.com/questions/58841/generating-a-colored-waveform-of-an-audio-file

Note: I'm not talking about a spectrogram, or a waveform that is colored based of the skin.

Thanks!

Not an important feature for me, but it would be neat to see. It would add a splash of color to the otherwise monochromatic/bichromatic and it can help differentiate between spots that have mild variations in frequency.

Something similar or related that may be nice to work through together if prioritized would be this track visualizer feature request (https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=37796.0) for displaying within the library tracklist itself for several tracks at once. Cross-linking them for awareness 👍
