Title: Stuck Before I Get Started

Hello, I have just installed MusicBee. I want to access music on an external hard drive. When I go to scan folders for new files, it doesn't matter whether I select my laptop or external harddrive, nothing happens - the "proceed" button stays greyed out. Clearly I'm missing something but I have no idea what. Any ideas? It's driving me crazy!
