Title: playlist - dupe songs from different albums
Post by: smellhole on December 11, 2020, 11:54:48 PM
Hi! New user here, only been using musicbee for about two weeks and I think it's awesome. There's a thing that's happening when I add songs to a playlist, however, that is confusing me. For instance, I'm making an AC/DC playlist and I want to add the following song from different albums:

08 - ACDC - Let There Be Rock - Whole Lotta Rosie
11 - ACDC - Live In Paris - Whole Lotta Rosie
18 - ACDC - ACDC Live - Whole Lotta Rosie

Musicbee seems to think these are all the same song. I get a Duplicate Track Detected popup when I'm building the playlist.

How can I handle this?

Thanks.

The duplicates in playlist look at the artist and title tags. The fields used cant be configured. You can disable the prompt if its annoying

Ok, thanks. Just to be clear, I can't have the same song title from different albums in one playlist?
