When I right-click on a folder in Windows Explorer then there appear 3 entries:
Play with MusicBee
Queue Next in MusicBee
Queue Last in MusicBee
How can I disable these context menus?
-
Edit->Edit Preferences->General...file types

Hmm, with this settings I delete the context menu AND the file associations.
But when I double click on a *.mp3 or *.m3u file then MusicBee should be lauched. Thats my intention
I just want to get rid of the context menus.
Any solution?

I think you'd need to use a context menu editor: https://blogs.systweak.com/best-context-menu-editors-for-windows/

From the choices at the link psychoadept provided, I would suggest starting with ShellMenuView, have had good luck with several of the NirSoft free utilities and most are portable (https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shell_menu_view.html (https://www.nirsoft.net/utils/shell_menu_view.html)).

Ok, I played around for a while with tools like ShellMenuView and others.
Yes I can temporarily disable Musicbee context menus.
But when I install a new version or under other circumstances MusicBee automatically re-enables these Context menus.
In ShellMenuView some of them cannot even be disabled
These entries are annoying.
Is it really too difficult to add a simple stupid new option to MusicBees configuration to allow disabling context menus FOREVER (and keep *.mp3 associations for double clicking)?
Is there an official feature request email address?

post request on wishlist board of the forum. or disable mb integration with explorer, right-click on any .mp3 file, "open with", musicbee (tick the checkbox to always use mb to open .mp3 files).
