Title: Remove Highlighting of Albums
Post by: Holbytla on November 12, 2020, 03:39:23 AM
Would be nice to be able to remove the highlighting of the album you select by making it transparent. Explained in the thread below, there is a work around to this however by editing an xml file. Would be nice to have a proper way to do this. Perhaps a feature in MusicBee itself and not something you have to edit in a xml file.

Edit - Here's what I really should of posted.

The Highlighting would look better if it just went around the album cover and not also over whats written underneat. Should of suggested that from the beginning.

Okay, I'll bite. Why would this be nice?

Knowing what is selected is a pretty crucial first step in performing most actions: moving files, editing files, playing files all come to mind.
Deleting files is the big one.

The only realistic scenario I can think of is if you never touch the keyboard and only ever intend to do anything with one album at a time.

Yeah I guess it doesn't really make sense come to think of it. It really is just something that bugs me with the way it currently looks. My OCD acting up. The Highlighting would look better if it just went around the album cover and not also over whats written underneat. Should of suggested that from the beginning.  :-X
