I will translated the file in dutch but i see after restart not the file in de pref.
What do i wrong?

This version contained mostly translation of the still untranslated parts.

In roadtesting and flee combing the last week I found many, many instances of translations of words and sentences that seemed to be correct, but at it's position in the program prove to be vague, wrong, or sometimes even the opposite of it's function.
(I now understand translating can be a profession :-)

Going through all almost 4000 lines will probably take us a couple more days.

It would be nice to have the next release with a professional looking translation to do MusicBee justice and make it as clear as possible to new users.

What is the deadline for the next release?

Met 'radio mixer' zit je zeker fout, is een tijd geleden door Steven veranderd in 'playlist mixer'.

that is the name of your playlist that you are editing
the drop-down has been widened

Behoorlijk wat verbeteringen en een consistentere vertaling.

Ter info voor vertalers:

- Ik heb de posities van regels hier en daar aangepast zodat hij weer zoveel mogelijk overeenkomt met de Engelse bestanden. Dit is handig voor side-by-side' vergelijking in bv notepad++

- Er staan door aanpassingen door Steven in de loop der tijd inmiddels aardig wat dubbele items in de sheet. Dit kan lastig zijn voor onderhoud en latere aanpassingen/verbeteringen.

Ik heb nu voor alle oudere entries waar later een nieuwere voor in de plaats is gekomen een uitroep teken geplaatst.
"#Lib.ctl.BF417927#" komt b.v. inmiddels 3 x voor in de sheet.
De twee oudere heb ik nu dus aangepast naar "!#Lib.ctl.BF417927#"
Zo is het gemakkelijk om te zien dat deze niet meer gebruikt worden, en er dus ook niets meer aan aangepast hoeft te worden.
Dit voorkomt zo wellicht fouten en dubbel werk.

Maybe so, yet I want to avoid cross-postings and diffusing my postings on encountered issues while translating to Dutch.
Issues and progressions mentioned here were usually addressed at a certain time. I am just guessing all the work being done on the new compact player is taking some toll at the moment.

Het is soms een lastige keuze om bepaalde Engelse termen een-op-een naar Nederlands te vertalen, omdat dat soms in woorden of zinnen resulteert die wat geforceerd en kunstmatig overkomen, en waarschijnlijk minder duidelijk zijn dan de originele enigszins ingeburgerde Engelse termen. (ik maak bijvoorbeeld van 'equalizer' niet 'gelijkmaker' of zo)

Zo ben ik nu enigszins in dubio over de term 'movement'. (in relatie tot klassieke muziek)
Ik neig er zelf naar dit niet te vertalen. Het zou evt. vertaald kunnen worden als 'beweging', maar volgens mij wordt dit nauwelijks (meer) gebruikt.
Laat het s.v.p. weten als iemand hier, daar een mening over heeft?

Een andere is 'Musician Credits'. ik neig naar Musici Credits' (of evt. Muzikanten Credits).
Klinkt wat raar, maar ik kan zo gauw niet veel beters verzinnen.

Als er overigens suggesties zijn voor evt. verbeteringen aan de huidige vertaling zijn die ook zeer welkom.
(ik gebruik MuziekBij zelf niet in het Nederlands, dus ik kan zomaar vertalingen over het hoofd zien welke op zich correct zijn, maar binnen het programma vreemd, onjuist of gekunsteld overkomen)

Bij 'movement' dacht ik zelf aan de term 'passage' maar op wikipedia lijkt de term 'deel' gebruikt te worden.

Top, nou en of.
Passage is een mooie vondst, maar 'deel' is waarschijnlijk wat breder en algemener geschikt.
Ik laat het nog even sudderen, maar ik neig nu naar 'deel'.
