This post (https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=31599.msg174883#new) got me thinking. It would be really nice if there were some way to store artist metadata on a global level. Similar to how the custom sort value is applied database-wide, information like Location could be applied to the whole library. (Yes, there would be complications if multiple artists have the same name... but seems like it should be solvable, maybe by applying a second tag for differentiation - like a MusicBrainz ID.)
To clarify, this information should be able to be used for filters and auto playlists, the same as tags in the file.
