Title: How to create proper tag on movie soundtrack ?
Post by: takayo72 on December 26, 2019, 10:37:23 PM
For example, Fifty Shades Of Grey original movie soundtrack
Each track has different artist
instead of assign 'Various Artist' as the 'album artist' tag, is it possible to to group by album title if no album artist find in the meta tag

I also wonder how to properly display "VA" albums. So far, I see every artist seperately. Browsing around in this forum didn't bring up a valid solution for me.

The answer to VA albums is in the FAQ: https://musicbee.fandom.com/wiki/FAQ#Why_are_tracks_from_the_same_album_shown_separately_in_my_library.3F

If the album artist is empty, you can set the iTunes Compilation flag in the tracks, along with using the "detect iTunes compilation" setting in Sorting/Grouping preferences, to get MusicBee to see it as one album.
