Title: Delete playlist entries without notification
Post by: cosnt_spb on November 21, 2019, 11:40:37 AM
Hey all,

When I delete a track in a library, they entry are automatically deleted from the playlists in which it is located (mpb), without any notice to me. This is inconvenient if, for example, I change the track to the same, but of a higher quality - then it would be appropriate to update it in the corresponding playlists. Is it possible to disable the option to delete entries in playlists (leave an empty link with a warning) or notify that an entry is deleted from the playlist?

Thanks in advance!

I use Google Translator, and there may be errors. Forgive me.

Hi, welcome to the forum!

I believe there's an upcoming "lock playlist" feature which may help, although we haven't seen exactly how it works yet. In the meantime, if you use the "replace file" command when you upgrade a file, then all its playlists will be preserved

Good point and I will change v3.4 so the lock function disables removal from a playlist via deleting files from the library
