Post by: ReconVirus on June 18, 2019, 02:44:48 PM
- Abilitely to change playback speed; similar to how youtube looks and funtion.

- Ability to add and look up backdrops relative to the podcast as a whole and episode that is currtently playing(if applied)

- a Better way to look up podcast within musicbee, podcast store?  --add more places to find podcast--

- ability to set up podcast widows similer to audiobooks

-Video podcast, played inside musicbee( i think older versions did this)
--Youtube as videopodcast, rrs feed to listen as podcast

Ill add more later
Title: Changing Playback Speed
Post by: skylark on June 19, 2019, 01:50:13 AM
The only thing keeping me from using Musicbee for everything is the lack of ability to change playback speed (as far as I can find?). I've looked everywhere for a way to do it in this program and it seems impossible to do rn? I tried importing a couple of Winamp plugins that do that into Musicbee and they didnt work. I know there's built-in functionality for changing the tempo, but I want to change the speed in a way that alters the pitch too, like I can in foobar with the Playback Rate Shift (https://www.foobar2000.org/components/view/foo_dsp_effect) plugin. Hopefully Im just missing something, but if not, its something I'd love to see in Musicbee in the future!

Thanks!  :)

Oh I just posted a similar thread lol. If you only want to change the tempo (which I think is how it is on youtube?) you can go to Edit Preferences ➡️ Player ➡️ Equalizer & DSP ➡️ check the box for Tempo Control then double-click the words Tempo Control ➡️ set the speed you want.

for the next v3.4 update, I have added a right click menu item in the player controls panel to set the Playback speed
