Title: Characters issue with 3.3 versions
Post by: SuperMagicom on May 28, 2019, 05:32:33 PM
I'm having a strange issue with the 3.3 versions of MusicBee.  My library contains a "Library Music" genre and, in the 3.3 versions, the characters are not displaying properly.  I have confirmed that going back to v3.2_Update3 solves the issue.  I don't think it's the same issue as described in the "Truncated names" thread.

Perhaps a track contains that string as genre tag value? I'd run a case-sensitive custom search for that string with "match RegEx".

when you click on the "IIBrary Music" node, are any files displayed in the main panel and if you open one in the tag editor, does the genre actually say "Library Music" ?

I think it was an errant tag in one disc somewhere. Strange that it didn't cause an issue on v3.2 though.
