This is not really a original skin. I just tweaked the Darker and the Pop one the way I like just for private use. As long as some people could find it useful, I uploaded it.

I created 6 ones with different colors: Olive, Crimson, Salmon, Teal, Apple and Dark Orange

Important: be aware that 'Dark Pop Basic' won't work as a skin. But if you want to use your own colour open it with WordPad and replace the word 'CHOSEN-COLOUR' with the your own colour RGB code ;)

Really nice work, Greb :)

I love darker skins, including the original Dark and Pop Pink ones, which seems to be the most productive skins on the forum ;) Thanks V4lve and Rotem by the way :) This work reminds me the story of OrB's first skin that already have a lot of devoted users :)

I like all 4 new variants and I think you should include screenshots for all of them in the topic.

IMHO, the skins look very professional and it seems that even slightly better than the original ones. (But maybe it's just an optical illusion ;) ) What's more important, users who were hard to decide on Pop Pink or Dark skin have another headache 8)
I wish MB users had more such a 'problems' :)

I hope You create some more skins and Steven includes them to the MB installer so that MB could gain more and more pleased users, who haven't visited the forum yet.
It's really cool that all the skins are distributed with the installer and users have a wider range of options :)

I like the crimson one. definitely looks professional.

Why not change the color of the ticks in check boxes? [check Check Boxes (http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=2497.0) on skinning guide - part two for the elements]
The location box [in the edit screen>properties] is locked but uses a different color then other locked text boxes? [don't mind if it's intended but if it's not check Controls.LockedInputControl.Default]
And the arrows are missing from the thumb buttons of the scroll bars, but are visible in the menus scroll bars?

That extra 9 there is the problem.

I shortened the entries a bit, but the list is still quite long. I was switching through all 4 colour variants while testing, so I decided not to remove any single entry. In fact, the bugs are quite easy to fix:
all you need is to search the skin files for numbers: 990, 993 and 9150 and replace it with the proper numbers from 0 to 255.

Greb, you did it ! I can't see any error in the log with the new skins. Thanks :)

The problem is that it seems that the colour change is invisible on the Skin when Darker Pop Basic, Dark Orange or Olive is used (it isn't different from the background).

The other Dark Pop Skins work as expected though.

BTW, make sure to update the year at the splash screen :)

Damn! you fix a problem and something breaks elsewhere! ;D

Well, I updated the links. Every skin seems to work OK now.

The 'Basic' one is not supposed to be used as a skin. Problem with the first skins was originated 'cause I replaced the RGB code '0,90,90' (blue teal) with the other colours, what affected the '90,90,90' grey. So I put the word 'CHOSEN-COLOUR' instead. In case somebody wants to personalize the skin with his favourite colour, he only has to open the 'basic' one with WordPad and to replace this word with the RGB code. No errors that way.

BTW, I had some time and made quickly some flat versions I added. I just like this ones sometimes.

(I realized now that Coral and Salmon looks definitely similar. But I feel too lazy now to choose now one of them!)

Greb, could you release Tweaked Dark Skins as Dependent Skins (http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=2797.msg14564#msg14564) so that the marked colours could be used with different skin files ???

When skin is dependent one all you need to do to make it work with another skin is to change the name

Hi

I picked some more nice colours (I really LOVE one app called ColourSchemer) and even made a quick splash screen. I was thinking in opening a new thread and uploading them as a pack.

But it's not question of opening a new thread for every change, and what you were talking about could mean another new change. I'm not going to invert too much work in this skins, but I'll check what you were talking in order to see if I can adapt them quickly. But probably not in the following days. Anyway, it's in the task list for the next week-two weeks.

EDIT The links has been updated. When I have some time I'll check the issue with the dependent skins.

I'd really like to try these colour choices with other skin files (Asylum White for example 8)). Are you going to make the skins dependent ??? The bug you reported on dependent skins misbehaviour have already been fixed in one of latest development builds of MB :)

Yeap, that's the idea.

But the bug hasn't been still fixed. As long as I know, code is done, but it hasn't been released by now. Last beta is 4083, several days ago, so I'll do it as soon as the new beta appears (well, probably some days later ;D).

Looks like these links don't work anymore (in fact, it looks like a lot of your Mediafire links on the forum don't work anymore). Any chance of getting these re-uploaded somewhere? They really are beautiful skins.
