With the player controls at the bottom of the main panel, we can now have one or two wavebars. Since the user can use the wavebar as both a progress bar and a way to fast seek forward or backward, I would like an option to not show the progress bar as it becomes redundant.

"Standard" skins meaning not bit-mapped, correct?
And thanks for doing this. Layout looks much better now.

its also done for custom skins now, but doesnt attempt any change to the layout to compensate for the hidden progress bar

Thanks!

Enabling the option makes only first line centered with PlayerInfoCentered not set. Try with either Cotton or Gray skin.
Also the menu items are now Progress Bar, Wave Bar, Hide Progress Bar for custom skins. Then shouldn't the first one be "Show Progress Bar"?

Not sure they should be centered or remain left aligned with the progress bar hidden, but looks fine with these skins. Thanks!

Preferences> Layout (1)> main player lists three locations for progress bar even with custom skins and when selected it shows "the progress bar cannot be changed with the current skin" message but it works anyway.
