Title: how do i fix this sorting problem - songs get multiplicated and mixed up
Post by: whatever_whatever on April 07, 2018, 02:11:09 PM
So. Im on my way to finally clean up music library, ditched WMP, sorted ALL tags, added ALL artwork manually. And i see this:

I cant find any info about it, and tags seem to be fine. Its a two disc version, second disc gets multiplicated same way. Another album shares same story. Note that under same name are different songs, not same ones replicated. For example: first one isnt Black Sabbath, its The Warning

Any ideas? Should i just make it one disc?

Probably they are files with embedded cuesheet. Check with tag editor and tag inspector.
To clear them up, select files> right click> Remove cuesheet.

i recall i made some enhancements in the patch version to help prevent this happening in the first place

http://musicbee.niblseed.com/V3_2/MusicBee32_Patched.zip
unzip and replace the existing musicbee files

That worked perfectly, Thanks :)
