Hardstyle is essentially what we called techno back in the 2000's under the electronic umbrella. Hardstyle is roughly about 10 years old and is booming. It's a type of techno that averages 150bpm. Hardcore is another genre, similar to hardstyle, but it averages around 160bpm.

You can use any genre you want in your tags and group them however you want under Edit->Preferences->Tags(2). Once you have songs tagged with a specific genre, it will show up in the genre browser.
