Title: Too many tracks in database?
Post by: Will Pittenger on February 26, 2018, 08:06:38 PM
Continuing https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=19440, I began to wonder if it's the size on my music collection causing problems.  I have enough tracks to play a different track for over a week continuously without stopping and never hear the same track twice.  I realized MusicBee's AutoDJ feature might not be able to deal with that many tracks.  The database itself doesn't seem to have any problems, but what about the DJ option?

when you restart MB, it resets the memory of the tracks already played in the auto-dj
as-of v3.2, MB will now exclude tracks on the "Playing Tracks" list that have already been played

Are we talking about the same thing?  Also, I restart MusicBee really only after a reboot.
