Title: Cannot delete Custom Sort Values
Post by: metrodub on February 12, 2018, 10:55:52 PM
Hoping someone can help with this.

On a few albums, I've noticed that there are values in the custom sort tables.  When I go into the table and delete the values, click update, and then save, the values return.

Any idea why the deletion will not hold?

Thanks.

It's just showing you the artist values that are in the file.  If there's nothing in the right hand column, they don't have any "sort" values to go with them.

Except, when you put MusicBee in Artist View and those artists show up in the sort.  So, it does have an impact.  See Randy Jackson, 3rd from the left on the top.

I've removed all instances of those artists in the other tags, so not sure why they are still showing up.

I had to rescan the files after making the changes to the INVOLVEDPEOPLE tag in MP3Tag.

Thanks for the info.
