How do I set defaults by content type?

I listen to Podcasts and to Music (sometimes listen to Audiobooks)

Music is always louder - or rather it sounds louder.

Is it possible to tell Podcasts to always play with a plus volume or to always use a certain Equaliser Preset by default?

I'm pretty sure that's not currently available. You can create a wishlist request for future consideration.
