Title: filtering by VBR Bitrate
Post by: cynflux on December 19, 2017, 01:38:28 AM
Hello,
Is it possible to create a filter based on VBR bitrate?
I have noticed that some of my mp3 files have VBR listed next to bitrate number.
The filter only seems to allow numerical characters.
Thank you in advance for your replies.

I believe I found a solution.
Using the display field called 'Encoder Quality', I was able to create a filter with a range between 0 and 10, hence a 'VBR' filter.

Be careful - I use Lame 64bit 3.100 at V0 and MusicBee somehow reports these files as V10 under properties.

Thanks for the heads up. I am just using the filter as a quick way to distinguish VBR files from other files.
