Title: Disable smooth scrolling
Post by: Darmst on September 21, 2017, 12:16:06 PM
I updated to the newest version of musicbee (3.1.6466) and now there is smooth scrolling everywhere and the number of lines moved with each step of the scroll wheel is finger-numbingly low. It's unbearable. Is there a way to revert scroll wheel behavior to the previous stable build?
I'm new to the forums, so I hope I follow the general procedure.

Bumping this.

I have a large library and the scroll speed is killing me.

i assume you all are referring to the mouse wheel
I am willing to create a debug version if anyone says they are happy to run it.

unzip and replace the existing musicbee.exe

can you scroll a few times and then send me the info at the end of the error log (help/ support/ view error log)

keep your existing musicbee.exe handy and replace the debug version afterwards

One of the numbers is a bit odd. Were you scrolling the main panel or the playing tracks panel and which view are you using for the panel being scrolled?
If it was the main panel being scrolled, were you viewing the library or the "Now Playing" tab?

Here's how I have it set up. I scrolled the artist list mostly and I think I scrolled the album list a little too

the column browser is using a lower scroll increment, so i have updated it:

unzip and replace the existing musicbee application files

Not to beat a dead horse but if we could get the scrolling slowed down for the left panel that would be killer. It makes it seriously more difficult to use the program unfortunately...

Pressing alt key slows down scrolling.
