Title: Failed to save synchronized song lyrics

When downloading a synchronized lyrics of Minilyrics in the music file, MusiBee shows me this error.

What can be the cause?

in english: Can not save song text: The object reference was not set to an object instance.

check the error log (help/ support/ view error log) and if there is an error dump around the time of this happening then post that.
Otherwise there isnt much i can do with such vague information

can you try using the latest patch version as i suspect it might already be fixed:

unzip and replace the existing musicbee application files

Yes, but this update has already made it better. But all synchronized song lyrics are still not stored and he will display this error message. Can this be related to the fact that my entire music collection is stored on an external hard disk?

Otherwise, I am very satisfied with MusicBee.

the errors in the error log you sent indicated the last version you were using was an earlier 3.1 version and not the one from the link i provided.

if its still happening with that version then can you confirm you are happy to run a debug version

Yes, unfortunately the problem still exists, also with the version 3.1.6407, briefly, almost every synchronized lyrics was saved, but in total only about every 10th. Yes, I would like to try a debug version.

When the error happens, open the error log. I need the information at the end which says "line="

I've been testing for quite some time, but it has not gotten any better with saving synchronized song lyrics, it only works with every fifth attempt. I need the information at the end, which says "line =", which I could not find in the error report. Therefore I send the entire error report.

I gave you a debug version to run and according to the error log you havent been running it.
I am not willing to spend any more time on this.

edit:
i see now you did run it for a while. However its much too late now and you really should have reported the results sooner.

I'm so sorry. I use MusicBee since 2013 with great joy, but technically I am still a beginner. Are you giving me the chance to use the debug version again and how long should I use this version and then send you the error report? I would be happy.

I am still really annoyed i went to the effort to create a debug version and you didnt bother to report back for 2-3 weeks while the error was still happening for you.
Given you are the only person reporting this i am leaving this unsolved

I apologize again, in no way did you doubt your programming skills, on the contrary, MusicBee is the best music software ever.

Today I changed the device settings of my external hard drive, see screenshot. Since then, saving the synchronized song lyrics works for almost every attempt :-) Thank you for your support.
