Title: Default output bitdepth in WASAPI??
Post by: jellalpalenzuela on April 13, 2017, 02:08:30 PM
Whenever I'm using WASAPI in Musicbee, the 'Use 32-bit output' tickbox is greyed out. Why is that? What's the actual default bitdepth that Musicbee uses in WASAPI mode? And in WASAPI mode, does it use event (or pull) mode or the conventional push mode? 🙂

the WASAPI api only supports 32-bit floating point data

I see. and Musicbee defaults to that setting (32 bit float) whenever WASAPI is selected and used?  :)

never mind. Just answered my own question anyway. All I did was to tweak MusicBee3Settings.ini file in %APPDATA%\Roaming\MusicBee directory. For short, its possible. Thank you very much. Iā¤MusicBee even more because of this.
