Title: original artist (TOPE) doesn't use the "multiple tag splitter"
Post by: vzell on March 24, 2017, 04:08:38 PM
The newly introduced "original artist" (TOPE) tag doesn't use the "multiple tag splitter". According to the spec

TOPE
The 'Original artist(s)/performer(s)' frame is intended for the performer(s) of the original recording

Additionally when entering ";" separated entries they do NOT show up as separate entries in the Library Explorer
as can be seen in the following screenshot

Can this be implemented like the standard artist/composer/conductor ?

+1

It would also be nice if the "Original Artist" and "Original Title" fields pulled suggestions from the "Artist" and "Title" fields respectively.
