Title: Unwanted behaviour when swapping genres after scrolling down or using jump list
Post by: Sigma on March 18, 2017, 12:55:50 AM
I have genres displayed in the left panel, and in the main centre panel I'm using the album art view. I also have the A-Z jump list enabled.

So, let's say that I click on "hip-hop" to display all of my hip-hop albums and then I click on "H" in the jump list to jump down to the albums beginning with H. That will automatically jump down 30 rows to my first hip-hop album where the artist begins with H, as intended.

However, if I then switch over to "R&B", the view will already be scrolled down 30 rows. As I have fewer R&B albums than hip-hop albums, that means I'm browsing the albums with artists that begin with S.

I don't know if this behaviour is intended, but I think it would be better if, when you switched genres, it put you back at the top of the album list.

Thanks!

Cos I don't see why this behaviour would be intentional and if it's not intentional then wouldn't it be a bug?
