There's a volume control in the main window, even one in the mini player, but not the compact...Am I missing something? Also, where is the STOP button in any mode???
-
i suggest you post a screenshot of your Compact Player setup
-
Stop button is toggled by pressing Shift
-
Well, I have a screenshot, now how do I send it? It's a .png file.

More than two years later, yet still having the same problem (no way to control the volume). (And I can't find anything more recent on this.)

Click on the volume which will pop up volume slider, or the mouse wheel scroll works right over there.
-
@Steven;
There's a visual glitch with volume level if you keep changing the number.

@Redwing: I can assure you I click on volume in every possible way, left, right, scrolling, moving... (up and down, left right) Nothing happens...

I just discovered that the 'volume box' appears when I change transparency:

But I can't change the slider.
Normally, I don't use transparency, and then the box never appears.
(That's why 'where is the volume control?' was a valid question.)
These are my present settings:

I fixed your images. If the link you're using doesn't end in .png or .jpg or whatever, then the img tag won't work.

i didnt see this post - its fixed now

Looking fine now. Thanks!
-
@Psychoadept: thanks! (sorry for not doing this right - I'll do a test to make sure I do it right next time)
@Steven: thanks for fixing!

Maybe, I got you wrong there...? Same behaviour in the latest version (3.3.7051) (at least with me).

Just found out that it's the 'always on top' setting that makes the volume slider unavailable. Without that setting, the slider pops up and works fine.

yes, the setting is not being handled - this should fix the issue:

Not fixed yet...
(As before: I can turn off/on the volume, and scrolling works, but the slider remains unvisible with no transparency - more visible when more transparency.)
-
I am afraid i wont be able to help further on this as its working fine for me
-
No problem... (scrolling works, so minor issue)
Thanks for looking into it!
(Weird though...
Sometimes I think my laptop is damned... >:( )
