Sorry if this was asked already, but what is the skins name on the front page?
I'm referring to this one:

How do you get the menu button to be three bars?

How do you get the menu button to be three bars?
Sounds like you're using MB v2.x.
MB v3.0 shows that icon for the menu.

Ah no, I'm on v3, however I had a custom icon loaded which overwrote it. Thanks.
You don't know which skin that is either?

Probably that's Alumni's Monaural skin:

Yes thanks, that seems to be it!

Hi, I'd like to know what is the name of the skin shown on the Homepage?
I really like it.
Thanks to all!
Jacques

I'm pretty sure it's Monaural.

Right on ! Thanks a lot!

There are some really excellent pieces of work with these skins, what settings are place to have the views/layout shown within them please?

Hello. I'm new to MusicBee. It's clean user interface which is presented on main page immediately caught my attention. I tried many skins that resembled it the most (Threshold White (https://getmusicbee.com/addons/skins/1/threshold-light/) is closest), but I couldn't find any skin as clean as presented theme. I also noticed that default layout is a bit different. Any tips?
-
Skins in musicbee dont define the layout (like say foobar). The layout is customised within musicbee. See http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/The_Anatomy_of_MusicBee for more info

The skin is was Monaural: http://getmusicbee.com/addons/skins/56/monaural/
EDIT: Shoot, it's gone.

The download link in the initial post of the Monaural thread is still active: https://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=17484.msg103823#msg103823

My musicbee looks nothing like this one:
Why would that be advertised when you get something completely different. Is that going to be default soon?

MB is highly configurable and it would be nearly impossible to put an image of every skin and every layout on the website. The skin is called Monaural and you can find it in the skins section of the forum or the Add-ons section of the website.
As for the layout, the main panel has Album Art view with the Now Playing panel and Track Information panels on the right sidebar and the Thumbnail Browser in the left sidebar.
I suggest you spend some time looking at the Wiki, starting with this: http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/The_Anatomy_of_MusicBee

What it looks like depends on how you choose to set the myriad display options; this view is just one of those. Start here:
http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Panels_Configuration#Panels_Configuration
http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Album_and_Tracks_View
etc. the Wiki is the place to start.
What worked for me was first making a complete backup of the MusicBee folder (I have the portable installation); then start dropping those menus and just trying things. If you get everything hopelessly screwed up, no worries, just replace the whole folder with the backup, and try again! When you end up with something that's 50% there, make another backup of that. Repeat! This app operates on the principle that maximum personal choice is better than a few "canned" views. And it's got a 454 under the hood too (aka first rate audio). Don't let the options intimidate you, just dig in.

Thanks, I just looked and the skin is already installed. But they should at least use the default skin on the homepage, or make Monaural. Or just showcase multiple skins on the homepage.

It's free software.
You should read the instructions.

Heh, this question seems to come up regularly. Maybe it should be included in the FAQ, no?
-
i think its better to pin one those threads on top of this board.

Really like it. I'm on Windows, how can I get it looking like this?
Thanks!

Anyone know why it's gone?

If you have the latest MusicBee it should already be there as a skin choice:
View->Skins->Neutral->Monaural

Hello,
I search the skin like the home page of musicbee : https://getmusicbee.com/
Thanks

See above. I've merged all the related topics and pinned it in the skins board.
