Title: 'Date added' changed when file added to library

When moving an item from the inbox to your library, the 'Date Added' changes.  Is this intended?

Unless I'm mistaken, since the tracks in the Inbox aren't in your Library, the Date Added reflects the date the tracks were added to your Library.

Hmm I see.  I like the inbox as a temporary holding place, but I sort a lot of my music by dates.  That is one reason why I have modification date disabled.  I guess I could just copy and paste the 'date added' before adding to library.
