Title: 'on-the-fly' AAC conversion
Post by: Bee-liever on May 17, 2016, 08:03:46 AM
I have some 24/96 FLAC files that I want to convert to AAC when syncing.
This always throws an error and no output file is produced.

If you do the conversion manually:
Send To> Format Converter
you can select "resample to 44.1K" to overcome this problem (this option is not available in the 'on-the-fly' sync settings)

Does anyone know if there is an extra option to put in the neroaacenc.exe encoding parameters to force the resampling to happen?

I don't know about nero, but qaac downsamples those to 48k by default.

Thanks redwing
I was just about to post that I had solved the problem by using qaac instead of nero.
You obviously had, and found a solution to, this problem earlier :)

Actually I didn't know the problem with nero as I had switched to qaac a while ago.
