Title: status info bar? (for tasks in the background such as copy or convert)

maybe docked to the menu bar?
or in a corner somewhere with a spinner icon

when clicking on it it will pop up the tasks going on in the background such as the format converter,
which now uses a pop up window that obscures the screen

already started work on that! the plan is to show all background tasks such as copy/ file conversion/ synch etc and progress in the status bar
