Title: installing updates

Trying to install latest update but i cant seem to find path or where to put unzipped file exactly it says unzip to musicbee folder thats what i think im doing . I dont have problem going back to previous update. File name finishes with MUSICBEE EXE. but when unzipped file name finishes like this   MUSICBEE SETUP 2.5.5491.EXE what am i doing wrong .there's one thing my musicbee folders are a mess yes folders dont know whats good or not .Would it be better with a clean install and would that be a question of just deleting everything and starting over got my music on a EDD Thanks

You should just have to run the exe that came in the zip, it will patch the existing files.

If you reinstall 2.4 and then use the link here to get to 2.5, you will be able to copy it into the install directory and overwrite the existing files:

Well did what you told me and eventually i got it right your my hero i guess thats why it says HERO MEMBER .Really appreciate your help thanks man
