Title: The problem marks the Artist
Post by: arpe63 on September 14, 2014, 09:43:21 AM
Hello ..

I'll post the picture, given that the English language is really bad. I hope that you will understand what it is about ?? I have artists in the characters © ¤ @ and this is another one. "© ¤ @ sign on top, sending picture"

However, these songs and bands or artists can be found right from the list of music that I've made yourself.
So, for example. Bands "Roxette and Dire Straits" in which these entries were found from your site. "Playlist" These pieces are there. Nothing is missing.

How these entries get off, and what it is about ??

It means that there are some extra tags in your files giving those results in the column browser. To fix it, you will probably need to use Tag Inspector. For each file, select it and open the Tag Editor by pressing Shift+Enter together. Then open the Tag Inspector by clicking the button near the top of the Tag Editor window. Finally, scroll down the listed values on the right hand side until you see the strange characters. Select the value and click the third button down in the right hand column (looks like -). This will delete the value. Click save in the Tag Inspector and Tag Editor windows.

Thank you for your help., "Pingaware"  I just corrected the problem by means of your instruction. Hard job. I had to go and change the almost 300 pieces of music.
Now, one problem remained unresolved. Scorpions band of 23 pieces of music the artist reads "empty"

Have you checked for empty artist tags in the tag inspector? That's the only thing I can think of that might cause it (though I don't know how that would arise).

I got the problem right. I do not know what caused this.
I had to remove all of these files.
I replaced them with new files.
I could not find what's wrong with you instructed me to look at. “Tag Inspector”
However, the problem is gone.
