Title: Movie Library
Post by: Withein71 on August 21, 2014, 10:24:43 PM
hey, i just switched from mediamonkey gold to musicbee.

with mediamonkey it was possible to create as many custom libraries as you want.

is it possible to create a movie and a series collections in musicbee?

Of course MB supports multiple libraries. But for non-music files like videos, podcasts, or audiobooks, each corresponding node in left navigator would work better. If any of those nodes are not visible, enable them under Preferences> Layout (1). Then you can select video files and drag-n-drop to the node, or right click> Send to > Video.

is it possible to create custom corresponding nodes? because there is just 1 for "videos" but i want 2. 1 for movies and one for tv shows and series.

Creating an additional node is not supported. You can post any wish on the wishlist board.
For now, you could use different genre tag to group files with the same kind under the node. Maybe adding filtering functionality to non-music nodes could help, which is not supported either.
