Is it possible?

Look in Now Playing preferences, highlight playing track options: http://musicbee.wikia.com/wiki/Now_Playing_Preferences

The only available option is
'playback follows cursor
(Default: unticked) Causes MusicBee to play the selected track next, if it is not the track that just finished. (Only affects Now Playing list - selected tracks in the library will not be affected. this thread for further explanation.) '

Right, and you want the cursor to follow playback, not the other way around. The wording is different, but you want to choose one of the "highlight playing track in..." options.

Exactly, but it doesn't work as expected. No auto scrolling, just highlighting.

Really? Hmm. That could be a bug, it seems like it should scroll to the selected track.

Works for me. Which version are you using?
A screenshot of your settings might help too.

This explains it, thanks. You need to choose "select track" rather than "color text" for the panel to scroll to the playing track.
