Title: First attempt to a MusicBee picard plugin
Post by: vzell on April 03, 2014, 05:59:14 PM
Here is my first attempt to a MusicBee plugin for the picard tagger.
You have to scroll to the end of the following thread (until we find a home for
it with a direct download link on github)

Enjoy

vzell, you should probably update your original entry with Sophist's final script, or post the .py file as a link.

Hi,

could you post a noob process on how to enable this inside Music Bee?
Is it as simple as d/l Picard and putting this plugin in the plugin folder of Picard?
Do you have to run Picard natively to get the benefits or when you go into the menu for tag updates in Music Bee , the option will be there?

Again, sorry for my noobness  ;D

Hey vzell,

I am assembling my courage (again) to see if I can make Picard work nicely with MusicBee (after I have given up on that a few times already)

I am aware of your 'MusicBee Compatibility' plugin for Picard on github.
But I noticed it's more than three years old now, and of course a lot of development on MusicBee regarding performers, classical tagging etc. has happened in that time.

Can you give some advice on if it is still recommendable to use it?
