Title: remove lyrics
Post by: ron505 on February 12, 2014, 08:58:53 PM
Hi there,

I have a few hundred songs with the wrong lyrics. How can i delete the lyrics text in a batch? And let MB know that there is no lyrics there.
I have my lyrics saved in the mp3 song.

you can either use the tag inspector which is accessible via the tag editor or use the Tools/Tagging Tools/ Remove Tag function

I ususally open MP3tag, select all of the songs, and remove the unsynced lyrics tag and save.
You must put the unsyncedlyrics tag in the main window yourself though.

If by You must put the unsyncedlyrics tag in the main window yourself though you mean adding it to the list of tags that appears next to the track list, that isn't true. Just select all your tracks, press Alt-T and delete the unwanted tags from there.

I know that, but I think the main window at the left is a lot easier to use than the Alt+T one. I also don't think somone that tries mp3tag for the first time really knows about that at first.
I have pretty much all tags I care about in the main window xP.
