Title: Auto numbering tracks - reseting counter
Post by: chorpo on March 06, 2009, 08:14:46 PM
Hi,

It would be nice to have reset counter for each album and also reset counter for new disc number (because now when i have two disc album with 21 and 20 tracks in each it tags tracks from 1 to 41 not 1 to 21 and 1 to 20 for each disc) in auto number window when tagging files (Tools > Manage Files & Tags > Utilities > Auto Number Tracks). Also I suggest you to keep last selected options somewhere so you dont have to select "pad numbers with leading zeros" everytime you want to auto number albums and also for deselection for "include total track count"...

thanx in advance  :)

that sounds like a bug if its not resetting the track count on the 2nd disc

Tested few times with different albums with two or three discs... same result... it isnt resetting track number for each disc and also total track count... it should reset also total track count for each disc

Hello Steven,

v 1.1.3558

It seems this issue is still unsolved.
I experience the same behaviour chorpo described.

Does it work for anybody else?

Greetings,
D.

i have a feeling i might have forgotten about this issue so i will look at it again. The album-autotagger also provides a renumbering/re-ordering capability as well but isnt as optimised if you just want to renumber tracks only
