Thanks for sharing these. Great work!

BTW I'm not sure the red border color for TabsBar.TabInCaptionBar.Highlight was intended.

No it wasn't, thanks for reporting that. I've made some changes to the tabs in caption bar and the menu button.

Hi Mikebo, i was trying to update my mod from your dusk and looking for how to skin love icons i found this skin from yours and i really like it a lot. In fact i'm think in abandoning the dusk.mod and porting my tweaks to this base.

The thing why i arrived to this skin: When we select a not loved track in main panel and put our mouse over the not loved heart, it turns lighter.
I would like that when we do it in a loved track, it would become darker. I tried in my dusk.mod but didn't was able to do it, neither in this base, neither in the .xmlc. Maybe there is a bug i should report to Steven?
BTW I have realized in your base LastFmLove and LastFmNotLove are the same icon.

TIA!

I'll upload the source files for you later.
I'm not sure what the issue with love icon is but there sure were some quirks last time i looked at it. If you think there is a bug worth fixing then you should tell Steven.

Hi Mikebo, i did some modifications to your great base skin
Sorry, i didn't log the changes, it's here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/q9g2n9cba9m3trt/base+midnight.metro.mod+140215.xml

EDIT 140218: I think most changes in the base xml are visible in the following picture:

Hi Mikebo, Klint reported me a bug with these skins when opening the dialog Tool\Download artwork.
The problem is the use of transparency in the following element: <element id="Controls.ArtworkFrame" bdr="40,255,255,255" />

Klint reported it here: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=6036.msg73401#msg73401

First of all, congratulation for your skin, Mikebo. It's by far the best available, in my opinion.

Yet, I have a problem with my progress bar, which is not displayed the way it should (like on the screenshots above). Do you know how to account for it ?
I must add that I currently use MusicBee 3.0 beta version.

Thank you very much in advance.

Thanks for the kind words. What dpi setting are you using?

Thank you for your answer.

I'm sorry : I don't know what DPI settings means...

It's a setting that adjusts the size of interface elements on your screen. Hit the windows key and type "dpi" it should find the appropriate setting, open that and check what is the value.

@ Orion
are you using the MusicBee 3.0 version of the skin?
ie. MidnightMetro3

I use the last version that is downloadable via the Wikia.

@ mikebo

I'm sorry, but if I use the windows button of my keyboard, it opens the Windows 10 main menu, not anything related to MusicBee...
I'm confused : may I ask you to explain me what to do ?

Thank you very much in advance !

Ok, first of all please download the skin for MBv3 https://www.dropbox.com/s/foh0z0x1xalcn70/MidnightMETRO3.xmlc?dl=0
also make sure you're running the latest beta http://musicbee.niblseed.com/V3_0/MusicBee3_Patched.zip

Dpi is a system setting, that's why I've asked you to open the start menu. Just search the system settings for dpi. I think that this may be causing this issue and maybe I could reproduce it and fix the problem.

Yes, that's correct.  DPI (dots per inch) is a windows setting, not a MusicBee setting.  Open the Windows 10 search bar via the windows key on the keyboard, and type in DPI.  That should take you to the DPI where you can see what DPI you're using and report back.

I set up the files you gave me : no change.

I've run the search and I come across multiple files : which one is the one we are looking at ?
(http://img11.hostingpics.net/thumbs/mini_379075Capture.jpg) (http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=379075Capture.jpg)

If it's DPIScalling (Application), then I ran it and it displayed an option concerning title bars on the desktop. Its value is 9.

Thanks !

Ok, forget about the search. In windows 10 you can open settings > display

(http://www.windowscentral.com/sites/wpcentral.com/files/styles/larger_wm_brb/public/field/image/2015/08/windows-10-display-settings-desktop-3.png?itok=_5Q6aIps)

tell me what is the percentage.

Easier : 150%.

OK, I'll check later on my system if I can reproduce this issue and fix. Be patient :)

i think its something I will have to address as other custom bitmap skins also dont scale well with high dpi screens

It probably is indeed.
This is a more extreme example: http://getmusicbee.com/forum/index.php?topic=16643.msg104723#msg104723

the glitches for high dpi screens should be addressed now:
http://musicbee.niblseed.com/V3_0/MusicBee3_Patched.zip
unzip into the musicbee application folder and run MusicBee3.exe

It works on my computer : it's nicer, now.

Thank you very much, Steven !

I love the MidnightMETRO skin, but, if possible, it would be nice if the track information text was the same colour as the font used for the list of tracks in "Playing tracks".

Just wanted to write a quick thanks for developing this skin. By far the best I've used in a long long time. Also, appreciate the Calcium one, it's great to have a bright tasteful one done right!
