I’ve been experiencing unusually slow syncing for `.m3u` playlist files when using MusicBee with my Amazon Fire HD tablet. While music files sync quickly, playlists—despite being very small in size—take much longer. This issue has been consistent across both Windows 7 and Windows 11, though with Windows 11, the process has become even slower. Importantly, this behavior has been present in prior versions of MusicBee as well, and isn’t specific to the most recent update. The issue seems specific to my tablet, as syncing playlists to my smartphone is rapid.
Details:
- Music Storage Path: `Fire\SanDisk SD card\Music\*`.
- Playlist Format: `.m3u` with relative file paths enabled.
- Playlist Storage Path: Playlists are synced to the root of my SD card (`Fire\SanDisk SD card\Playlists\`).
- Device: Amazon Fire HD tablet, using VLC Player for playlist import.
- Connection: USB Type-A to Type-C cable.
- Manual Copying: Transferring playlists manually through Windows Copy works lightning fast.
- Version: MusicBee 3.6.9202
